Acceptable Use & Children's Policy

1. Spirit of the policy

Venglish is a learning environment built around respect, curiosity, and discipline. We expect all users to engage with the Services and one another in good faith and to comply with applicable law.

2. What you may not do

You may not use the Services to:

• Engage in unlawful activity or activity that infringes the rights of others.
• Send spam, phishing, or unsolicited commercial communications.
• Upload, transmit, or link to malicious code, exploits, or anything designed to damage systems.
• Harass, threaten, defame, or harm another person.
• Impersonate any person or organisation, including Venglish staff and characters from the Galactic Legend universe.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts, data, or systems, or to circumvent security or rate-limiting controls.
• Scrape or harvest content in violation of robots.txt or our written authorisation.
• Use the Services to train or improve a competing product.
• Generate or distribute content that exploits or endangers minors, including any sexualised content involving minors.

3. Enforcement

We may, at our reasonable discretion and without prior notice: (a) remove or refuse to publish content that violates this policy; (b) suspend or terminate accounts; (c) restrict access to the Services; and (d) report unlawful activity to authorities. We will, where appropriate and practical, give you a chance to remedy a violation.

4. Minimum age

The Services are not directed to children under 13 (under 16 in jurisdictions where that is the higher minimum age, including most of the European Union). If you are below this age, please do not use the Services or submit any personal information.

5. Users 13–17 and parental consent

If you are between 13 and 17 (or up to the age of majority in your country), we encourage you to use the Services with the knowledge and consent of a parent or legal guardian. Parents and guardians who become aware of their child's use of the Services may, at any time, request to review the personal data we hold about that child or request its deletion by contacting contact@venglish.space.

6. Use in schools

If you are a teacher or institution introducing Venglish to learners under the age of 13, you are responsible for obtaining the verifiable parental consent required by the laws applicable to those learners (such as COPPA in the United States). Contact contact@venglish.space to discuss institutional use.

7. Reporting violations

If you become aware of any violation of this policy — including content involving a minor or any safety concern — please report it immediately to contact@venglish.space. We treat such reports as a top priority.

8. Changes

We may update this policy as our Services and the safety landscape evolve. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
